It is evident that every student's dream is to be an Highflyer and to make straight As but oftentimes, this dream seems unachievable and derails the morale that one has toward achieving massive academic success.
The following tips are here to help you regain back the morale you have lost and help you rebuild the confidence in you to be an highflyer...
1. Know yourself by understanding the study time, condition, atmosphere that works for you. Don't imitate your friend.
2. Go for extra to be extraordinary. When others around you have set their own limits and comfort zones, break the limits and move on to the extra to obtain extraordinary results.
3. Move out with people based on their level of intelligence not only in academics but also other areas of life. Do not relate with people who have nothing to offer unless you want to impact greatness into them.
4. Stop the complaints about the system and challenges around you instead, devise means to overcome them.
5. Maintain a good and proper listening skill in the class. Be reserved in the lecture hall, keep calm and understand the message being passed across.
6. Believe in yourself and trust in your own abilities. You can do the undoables !!!
7. Limit your focus on extracurricular activities. Maintain a standard focus on the main thing- academics.
8. Prioritize your activities based on matter of significance. Is it your academics or your leisure. It lies in your hands to know which is to come first but I am sure it is academics.
9. Reward yourself after every successful accomplished set goals. If you plan to study for four hours in a day and you have achieved this, don't hesitate to reward yourself by any form of reward you have highlighted for yourself. Apparently you will visit friends, play a video game or surf the internet or even buy yourself something. It works and keep your morale uplifting.
10. You can't just do all these all alone. Being an Highflyer doesn't come naturally and therefore you must be connected to the supernatural. Be spiritually grounded. Serve God to the fullest, serve Him with your might and expect yourself to soar high even more than your imaginations. I am a living witness of this and I know of other people who have made it out with their zeal of service and worship to God.
