InspirationFriday: Rising Above your Obstacles

It is quite evident that life in itself is filled with many obstacles and different challenges that makes one think of giving up on life. The world is filled with people who gave up on life because of the obstacles and also people who rise above their various obstacles.

Imagine a race filled with hurdles and different obstacles before reaching the finish line. Many athletes will fall by the wayside because they cannot finish. Many will try as much as possible to get to the finish line and that is because they endured and rise beyond the obstacles on their way. The people that people reckon with are the ones that rise beyond the obstacles and get to the finish line.
Helen Keller became deaf and blind at six. That didn't stop her. She became the first deaf and dumb person to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Nick Vujicic who was born without arms and legs became an evangelist of the gospel and win many souls to Lord Jesus Christ and also heal many people with disabilities. That is a miracle. A man without arms and legs!
I do not know what your obstacles are. You have yours and I have mine. It might be an academic, family, relationship, physical challenge, among others. No matter what it is that you have as an obstacle, never give up on life. Keep on keeping on. John Cena who is an American wrestler always go with the slogan "Never Give Up" and I also want to emphasize it that no matter what life has brought or bringing against you, do not think of giving up! You are destined for greatness.
Les Brown who is an American motivational speaker without a college degree asserts that "no matter what life brings against you, try lying on your back because if you can look up, you can get up!" Your background has no authority to put your back at the ground. Stand tall, wax strong and rise above your obstacles. Remember God in the face of your challenges and obstacles. Make Jesus your Lord and cleave to him with all your heart. He has the authority to make you rise above your obstacles. My family is a living testimony.
