BeYOUtiful!
"She lacks confidence,
She Craves admiration insatiably, She lives on the reflection of herself in the eyes of others. She does not dare to be herself. "- Anais Nin.
Of all the struggles in life, knowing and accepting oneself with all the faults and imperfections is the biggest. Until this struggle is overcomed we might not be as caring, emphatic, loving as we should to others as this determines the quality of our life and relationship with others.
That moment when you have deep appreciation for Who You Are, when you Accept your peculiarities and uniqueness ranging from your Strengths, Weaknesses, the way you look, the way you talk, your body shape and size, your weight and height, your gender even your relatives , only then is your Self-Value and Worth Insured.
It's so unfortunate how some Ladies place conditions on the manner in which they'ld rather love themselves. Not until they undergo rigorous diet scheme to achieve a desired body shape and size, some make it a daily routine to apply intensive makeovers, others see having a total facial transplant as the best option to having a particular 'Gorgeous look' not even because they were involved in an accident of some sort. And then, the issue of Transgender which arises in the world presently. Some hid their family members just because they do not want to be identified with them as they don't reflect what she supposedly portrayed them to be, the list is endless...
But then I ask, "where is all these coming from?!"
"Why should I allow people's opinions /validation of me define who I become? "
"Why should I give a misleading impression of the REAL ME? "
"To be Accepted", I hear you say.
Well, just so you'ld know...
To be BeYOUtiful means to be yourself. You don't need to be accepted by others. You Only Need To Accept Yourself. - Thich Nhat Hanh.
I choose to be beYOUtiful!!!
