Transition: Fifteen things that will help you along the way. Series 3

It is a wonderful pleasure to have you here again this week. I want to thank you for your commitment to this blog not because it is just a blog but because of the impact it stands for and for the love you have.
  This is the last series on 'Transition' I have started some weeks back and I want you to read and digest and get blessed. If you miss any of the previous series, search through the posts and you will locate them.
Here are the other keys needed to engage yourself in transition....

11. Problem Solving

Many people shy away from problems rather than inculcating the habit of solving them. There are many problems where you are heading to and for you to gain relevance, you seriously need to search out for problems that you have the ability to solve and solve them with your might.
  Every nation for an instance is filled with problems and people that solve them are the ones that people do remember for their legacies. If you are thinking of making a legacy and you want people to remember you when you are gone, solve problems.

12. Time Management

The problem most of us face is with time. We find it hard to work according to timing for a project. I had serious problem managing my time in time past and I had to suffer for it. I spent more time working on things that do not have any positive impact in my life and it was not a good experience.
  You need to understand that you are operating in a planet that the common currency we all have is time and if you want to maintain a good ground in destiny and your new environment, I will urge you to manage your time to the fullest.
Stop using your time on things that do not have significance to your life and not only things, stop spending your time on people that constantly drain you of your values.
  I cannot tell you everything you need to know on time management but I will urge you to seek proper counsel to engage yourself in the affairs of your new horizon.

13. Analytical Thinking

Your progress in life is determined by the quality of your thoughts and if you want to make a tangible progress, you have got to think analytically. Think of ideas that can help you progress and consider the variables involved and watch things fall into place.

14. Do not give up

One of the things most people do not know about transition is that it is never easy to cope and stand out. It is not an easy task to move through systems that you are not familiar with and therefore, you are in for a real challenge. Things will be hard, life will be harsh on you. People in your new environment are constantly watching you and pushing you hard. The system does not support your ambition and let me let you understand this; you are in for a real deal of life !
  Most people in a new horizon find it hard to cope and they back out of the place. I want you to understand that you are destined for greatness and your vision is big and therefore, do not give up. If it comes hard on you, give it back in a hard form.
  When the thought of giving up overwhelms you, think of what you want to accomplish and keep on moving.

15. The God Factor

I am a believer in the Christian Faith and way of life and I am sharing with you things that have helped me along the way, it is necessary for me to share my faith with you.
  The God Factor is highly essential to your fulfilment in that new place of transition and everything you have to do must be built on the Solid Rock. God has given you the grace to that place and you need to rely on him by following the principles attached to him. Of what profit will it be if you do not have a solace in God ? Only God can ease your burden through Jesus and you really need to believe in Him for the best life, the abundant life.
  Therefore, in order to progress at God's pace and to be fulfilled, seek him through meditation in His Word, have a prayer life to tender your problems to him and speak with him to give you ideas that will make you have a lasting legacy in that new environment.
  I do not want you to be an atheist. Believe in Him and experience the best !

Afterthoughts

• Transition is a daily process and you need to be agile to make things work out in order to gain relevance.

• Your steps have been ordered but you will have to determine your strides.

• Do yourself a favour and make a lasting legacy.

I can hardly tell you all about transition because it is a daily process and in order to have relevance, be cognisant of the things happening in your environment.
